Life Update: I'm Quitting My Job.

yeah those were tears, I've become very attached to this job and it was tough to muster up the courage to do this.

there are times when i become a sensitive smol beans this is one of them, but even smol beans gotta take a deep breath and stand tall.

my biggest reason for qutting is because I've been doing effectively two teams worth of work for the last 11 months,

I was told it was only going to be for a month or two tops.

but clearly its never gonna get better here. 

other reasons include portal glitches, we use websites to access accounts and log data, but you gotta clear caches each time. extra steps that shouldn't be required reducing our effeicny.

we've reporting that one for months and years, but its never been fixed.

my line manager is a cool guy and was proud of me for standing up and doing that, saying if he was able to leave he would have.

he also let me know on the sly i actually really bothered alot of higher ups because they were scared workers were going to leave and they're scared it'll set off a ripple effect because someone else on my team is also leaving.

a team of 7 goes down to 5. with another teammate saying how shes not satisfied due to the current workload.

(also i mentioned im a youtuber with 15k subs without saying my name, they only know that i do video game content and mod install videos. they were all impressed. without knowing what content i make)

and just encase anyone is wondering, I'm losing weight for the sake of losing weight and feeling better about myself,

his isn't a "my doctor told me to lose weight or i might have a heart attack" type of deals.

I wanna get in shape BEFORE anything like that Could happen.

I am Nora, I've 6 years working in a tech support office enviroment and I have 5 years worth of computer courses and a bachelor's degree in computers.

I'll be weeking a job with the irish goverment or another type of tech support job. something i can grow into. show off my skills and climb up some ranks
