Serious Question about Commissions
Added 2020-04-01 09:21:09 +0000 UTCSo, people keep asking me for commissions, and I keep turning them down, because there are ten quadrillion people on the waiting list already.
Right now, Patreon stuff is eating all of my time, and I've barely made any progress on the commission list.
So, here's an important question for you:
Are you ok with me doing commissions and posting them to Patreon as paid content?
I know other people do it, but thus far I've avoided it, because it feels wrong to me. *But*, it may be the only way to actually fit them into the schedule, because I am the slowest artist this side of the Belt.
So, I'm going to probe the audience and ask if they would be ok with it.

i don't mind, however be best not massive spam drop all commission work all at once, im on the low tier patreon but others on the higher tier may complain on paying on artwork thats been technically been "Paid" for is best to set em on patreon as "anyone can watch" it as guest to not be charged if possible this would avoid conflict on paid commissions that folks pay also into for the Patreon upload. SORRY if i sound insensative about this, im just saying in a LEGAL way how things should work, i dunno in depht the TOS on this manner so is out of the water, just saying in my input best i can go off of. hope it helps?

Many of the other artists that have me on their patreon post HD versions of completed commissions as paid content so I don't see why you can't. I'm not familiar with how commissions work but I believe you don't get paid for your commissions until you finish them right? So pretty much you cheating yourself out of getting paid. So I'm all for you posting commissions on here. I can't wait to see what you got.
