So, the overall plot for the next project is starting to form.
A king with grand ambitions commissions a wizard to create weapons. The wizard creates a growth formula, which he uses on dragons and perhaps some other creatures(on a few males initially). At first there is success on the battlefield.
Later on the wizard uses it on a 'breeder' dragon, a queen, and she gets a little out of hand, even when they try to fight her with all the other upsized creatures.
My first question is, should there be small, one-page growth scenes of other creatures/characters?

you know if you add the more growth option, it's likely always going to win.
