ArcanePunk Assets Update & Showcase!

Hey Everyone!

With the new pack well on its way, I wanted to show a little snippet (this is about the size of one tile!) so you could see what I've been working on.

I hope you can tell that I put a lot of love and attention into these assets (this is one of my favorite world styles/flavors), as I really wanted to do them justice.

With the new assets comes a new feature: BACKGROUNDS!
(For a quick showcase I borrowed this one from Ross at 2minutetabletop, if you don't know their work, you've got to check them out!)
I will create a bunch of backgrounds: astral, empty space, asteroids, forests (like the one you see there), fields, ocean, mountains, etc. etc. This way you just swap it out, and your city can MOVE, from place to place. This could even be done mid session of your files are saved accordingly.

Animating the backgrounds could also prove to be quite cool (I can't animate so if one of you would like to give it a crack with this little showcase image, let me know, I can send over the PNG of just the city and the ship)

I will also include many different "flotation devices", so your cities can fly about according to your worldbuilding themes!

I really wanted to push the level of details and the colors as well in this pack to make it super colorful and filled with details. You be the judge if I succeeded!

I really hope you like the direction and I can't wait to share the final pack with you all!

As per usual assets will be coming out first, and then the modular tiles.

If you'd like something specific (that isn't a massive undertaking) to be featured in this pack, let me know below, I would love to include your ideas!

Also, if you have any constructive feedback regarding the upcoming packs, as always, I am all ears!

Cheers everyone, and see you very soon!

Happy Building! <3

Fantastic! I am looking forward to it.

Thank you very much! Yes, the backgrounds will work as follows: Layer1: Solid base colors (or tiny details like on the one above) Layer2: "Artifacts" --> Clouds, floating color swirls (for astral stuff), asteroids, birds, small islands you name it. This way you can mix and match so if you use some clouds beneath AND above some islands and then drop a blue background, you now have floating islands. Remove the clouds from the bottom, now its an ocean with islands, remove the islands, open ocean. You get the picture:))

This project looks awesome, can't wait! If you are doing backgrounds, will you be doing a cloud or sky background? I run a campaign with lots of inhabited floating islands, this would be an asset I would use frequently. Love the work, keep it up!
