So I'm currently sitting on a lot of animations for SW. We have a lot of stuff set up and ready to go, but we're bottlenecked on how fast we can release holds due to the process of adding voice acting to them.
Writing the documents with instructions for the VAs for each hold, writing the lines, casting VAs, waiting for their samples, choosing, waiting for them to finish recording 200+ lines, doing revisions, editing the audio, organizing it and adding it to the game and testing + further revisions after testing... That's more or less the process for voicing one character for professional-like results, and you have to double it since you need to do all this for both aggressor and victim for every hold.
Needless to say, it's a slow process, I'm still trying to get used to it.
So here's my question: Would you guys like me to release holds faster without the voice acting and then have the voice acting added to them whenever I manage to get it ready, or would you rather I wait until everything is ready to release the holds?
