Connor was the best thing in this season. The way he was written all the way from when he was born was UH-Mazing!
People bitch about the storyline between him, and Cordelia, but I LOVED it, and the reason I loved it was because I knew it wasn't really Cordelia doing what she was doing...
It was all explained when Lauren told the story of how she got her "memories" back, but what we saw was the thing inside her open it's eyes after taking Lauren's potion...
Connor is a boy who came back to a world that he was born in, but didn't even feel like he belonged, and what I loved about that is most of us feel this way when we start our lives in the real world.
The difference with Connor is he never fell in love before, he doesn't know what a lie is, he doesn't know what double talk is, he doesn't know when he's being used, taken advantage of ECT...
These are things we learn as we are coming up around different people, and learning our people skills along the way while we building our character after every heartbreak, every no, or every let down, and lie...
The thing we've seen with Connor that people keep ignoring is the good he kept doing every time he got hurt.
All the way up to episode 21 Connor kept trying to save people, and families from vampires. He's never actually tried hurting anyone else except Angel, and that virgin for Cordelia, but that's because of everyone else feeding him lies.
Most people don't give a shit about his feelings or how he came up even with all the information, because you know Angel tried his best. I don't blame Angel either... I blame Wesley...
Let's keep it 1000 though how many of us as teens or older still blame their parents for something that you feel they should've had better control over in your life when you was younger? Big or small as it may be...
What was more realistic was how numb Connor said he was now, and how he can't feel anything anymore...
The whole time he was a miracle baby, because Angel did that trial for Darla's, but they gave them Connor instead, with a heartbeat, powers of his parents, and a soul like his father's...
It was realistic when he said he feels numb now, because we've ALL felt that way at one point. What also hit hard was him telling Angel in his own words how he's tired of fighting, because that's all he's been doing since holtz taught him, and he's been killing at a very young age just to survive, and how he wished Angel held on tighter.....
The fact that he said he wanted Angel to hold on to him tighter shows that Connor realized the difference between Angel and Angelus, and I think he realized it right after his soul got back to him.
Connor said he didn't feel anything when Jasmine was there, but him and Angel were getting along, and I think he realized that if he was Angelus Angel would have killed him a long time ago, but even though Angel loves Connor as best as he could; Connor felt it wasn't enough to hang on... He feels his mother didn't love him either... When he finally meets her, he's tricked into thinking that Darla is a trick, because he hates magic, and "Cordelia" has been everything to him...
I know nobody is going to read all this, and IDC, but the way Connor started out in season 3 all the way to here... Chef's kiss...
I mean the man killed Jasmine for everyone... Not Angel... She was the biggest threat they've faced in this season
Everyone has had it rough, but Connor in season 4 is by far my 2nd favorite character...
He's the "this is how he turned out character" because Angel couldn't be there, you see the moodiness, the killing, the numbness, then ready to kill himself
"this is how he should've turned out" at the end with the smiles, jokes, and sense of humor
I don't care what anyone says or feels, but Connor was fantastic, and his wrap up in this season was amazing 💯💯🎯🎯🎯✌🏾

Just the first episode honestly if she doesn't want to be spoiled. After that and it doesn't really matter

I've seen Angel multiple times but I was curious as to why Ashleigh needs to skip the intro, so I watched it. I got why people are saying it straight away and completely agree
