The tv cook is a tribute to Julia Child, no doubt, and given to us by the immortal Harvey Korman, who you know from "Blazing Saddles" playing Hedley Lamarr. But he was also part of the weekly "Carol Burnett Show', and to show you how tremendous he was at drag, here is one of the longest, most fun bursts of laughter from audience, as Korman enters the series for the first time as Mother Marcus (we watched this on first showing, and we all fell on the floor): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LGf2JVbP2E (go to 6:45 if you don't want to watch the whole thing).

10:43 - That is the great and wonderful Art Carney. He became mega famous after costarring with Jackie Gleason in the 1950s-60s tv series, "The Honeymooners" thanks to his eccentric and brillian comic timing. He also had a great dramatic talent, and you can see both on display in a "Twilight Zone" episode, "Night of the Meek" (also I cannot tell you how OLLLD you make me feel when you confess not know Jefferson Airplane...). Meanwhile, here's one of Carney's most famous "Honeymooners" moments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKfayfaqskM
The fidgeting was a trademark routine in "The Honeymooners": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzxWIL6HElI. For people who knew, this was a very funny callback.
(You might say he was the Christopher Lloyd of his generation).
