The tv cook is a tribute to Julia Child, no doubt, and given to us by the immortal Harvey Korman, who you know from "Blazing Saddles" playing Hedley Lamarr. He became mega famous after costarring with Jackie Gleason in the 1950s-60s tv series, "The Honeymooners" thanks to his eccentric and brillian comic timing. He also had a great dramatic talent, and you can see both on display in a "Twilight Zone" episode, "Night of the Meek" (also I cannot tell you how OLLLD you make me feel when you confess not know Jefferson Airplane...).
