You made it! Now you see what the rest of us obsessed over when it originally aired. It still holds up so well today and it’s great seeing people watching it, almost 30 years later. I still can’t believe it’s been that long. I remember being 15 and a freshman in high school when it first aired. It started my tv show obsession. So glad you loved it. 😊 Now just waiting on Angel Season 5.

Am so pleased with how much Ashleigh enjoyed Buffy. I'd love to get Firefly and Dollhouse on the options for future TV reactions. What's the best way to do that?

So sad this journey with you is over, Ash! It's been wonderful watching my childhood (and still favourite) tv show through the eyes of a newbie. So glad you came to love the show and stuck through to the end. The series finale is always a bittersweet watch as it's akin to saying goodbye to an old friend. Every single time I watch Anya die, I become so upset. A bit hesitant regarding the reboot but I hope you watch along with us!!

Well if anyone wants some free building materials you can swing by my place, I’ll just be over here shittin’ bricks till the Angel S5 premiere 😬
Seriously though, great reaction Ashleigh. I wrapped Christmas presents last year while watching your season 2 finale, so it feels fitting I’d wrap gifts this year to the series finale.
One production note I’ll say is that Season 7 of Buffy, Season 4 of Angel, and Season Only of Firefly all premiered in 2002, which means the showrunner was trying to fly three different planes. With Firefly canceled and Buffy completed, he only had Angel left to focus on during its fifth season. And it shows - in a good way.

Wow, I don't think Ashleigh could have reacted to the series finale any better than that. Im so glad she was able to experience the full weight of the episode by watching Angel at the same time. It just adds so much more depth to everything going on. I still consider Buffy to be the gold standard for satisfying series finales, and crying while reminiscing is the only proper response lol. It is a bittersweet moment when the final scene puts a period on greatness, and you realize the journey is over. However, I promise the rewatches are just as magical. Going back to the beginning knowing everything that happens across both shows is an amazing experience. In my opinion, Its not really the end if it only gets better every time you watch it.

Buffy is a reboot of Kolchak: The Night Stalker, so if you get a chance....
