Aside from the race where she realizes she’s washed, her struggles feel overblown, especially if u know the actual history. Also, it doesn’t help that Kitasan’s personality is so shallow and essentially “imma hella Japanese”, similar to special week, and barely develops as a character. The arc with Golshi is great tho.

2025-12-27 07:19:05 +0000 UTCOut of everything one of the funniest thing they did is paralleling Kitasan and Gold Ship stories, these 2 are like Yin and Yang. Kitasan still keeping his hardcore training routine after retirement everyday while GolShi didn't even try running the hardest during his career, and while both are leaders of horse breeding chart Kitasan could be exhausted after a session of mating while GolShi cracking those mares so hard they refused to mate with any other horses later. All jokes aside I think this season is one of those interesting case, it's not the best but it could be due to how many plotlines it did and didn't set up, make you wonder what could happen if they have more time to develop the story
