2025-03-04 00:31:03 +0000 UTCI think the children of the 80’s are the main ones who can appreciate this movie for what it was at the time. The effects are obviously dated, but as a kid, seeing a duck walk and talk from another planet was funny. We didn’t get all the jokes and it was just a goofy fun movie. I haven’t seen it in years but it’s one that sticks in your memory for sure. It’s a nostalgic thing for me. Lea Thompson who played Beverly you’ll know from all the Back to the Future movies playing Marty’s mom. Phil is played by Tim Robbins who you’ve seen in Shawshank Redemption as Andy Dufresne. Jennings was played by Jeffery Jones. He was the principal in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. He’s been in a lot, but he got into serious legal trouble which has, deservingly so, ruined his acting career.

You've still got Guardians vol 3 and The Marvels to watch. Not to mention, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Loki season 2. Secret Invasion. You really outta see Ms. Marvel before watching The Marvels. And really outta see Loki season 2 before Deadpool & Wolverine.

Because I do think that MCU will come out with actual Howard, the duck content, and I’m really hopeful they do it right so everyone can see how awesome Howard the duck really is. I was in college when I started, reading more comics.
