WTF. We know nothing happened, why couldn't he have a little nice character arc and say hey, I didn't take advantage of you because you were drunk and hammered.

2022-02-27 22:50:59 +0000 UTCThe funny neck brace was because she is supposed to have scoliosis. In the 80s they checked the girls for scoliosis in health class and a big ol brace was the treatment. Also, in 80s minds because Jake’s girlfriend is as an asshole it wasn’t bad that he sent her off with Farmer Ted. 🤷🏻♀️ It ALWAYS bothered me how weird Sam’s sister was. I don’t know if she is just a bad actor or what and then who lets their daughter get married all wasted like that? Just really weird all around. Did you notice the sloshing in the organists purse when she was walking back in the church, and then after talking to Sam she mutters to herself “I need a drink.”

The priest was Brian Doyle-Murray (Bill's Brother), who was the mayor in 'Groundhog Day'. The organist was Zelda Rubinstein, the medium in 'Poltergeist'. And the underwear that the boys had on their heads were jockstraps.
