anyway, Alpha surely care for her... but I don't think he's made his feelings clear, I mean, he's been confused about who he is supposed to be.
anyway, Ivory's heart is broken, and I always intended it to be this way, I guess you would say "it's complicated", because each of these characters have a different feeling and ideas about everything.
Alpha's just felt compelled to find Laura, now compelled to save her... of couse he wasn't thinking about anyone else, or the consquences. even chances of doing it.
btw, when I was a kid, like 18 years old, I was listening to this song, imagining these moments:

Ah... if only the had the time and patience to explain all of those feelings and to hear them. But I have the feeling... it is not going to be that easy or smooth.
