the decision of making the begining of the episodes including somewhere in the first pages the "title" of it as some sort of introduction, was a decision that I took around this time...

I just wanted to stop including the bits with the text quotes at the beginning, as I tried to make different things for each Derideal "part"...

but then, I revised the scripts, and had to add several extra pages at the beginning of some, and the text of the episodes ended up getting much later in the first pages, worse case I think being "Underground"... but I think the bits I added made the episodes much better.

this scene is mostly to begin telling what's happened so far... so we'll get Ivory's narrating a bit.

I wanted the room to feel more old, more like she was stuck inside a castle or a tower... mostly to play around with the feeling of isolation, if that works or not? I GUESS it's up to readers.

Anyway, the isolaiton episode will give lots of information about the "wants" of the characters now, as every situation changes for everyone involved.

in any case, this training sequence and the bright window and all that it's something I had a mind, and I thought it was cool to have something fun in the backgroun happening as she remembers.
