Hey! I haven't got so many commissions this month, which is a little worrying, but I got around drawing more Lost memories pages than usual haha.

See? I even got some full painted panels and backgrounds.

I wanted to share this panel, because this is also sort of a recurrent thing in Derideal comics, Xenos are "rarely" named by the humans (but some have, like Ivory, Titch, Laura...)

usually, the xenos that work more next to the human scientists and technicians get personal names besides their codes.

but still, specially the xenos that aren't too militarized like the Exigus, like to have name of themselves... humans don't care much about it, some Exi might prefer their codes, others use a name, like they name themselves or others.

I think this reflects how much they see themselves as individuals, some xenos think it's important, other not much... it's not good for them to be too much of individuals as you can tell, and most of the "faulty" xenos are the ones with that need the most their individuality.

as general, I tend to name the xeno characters after their appearance, more or less like how you would name a pet... like Rusty that's an orange cat, Apple has a fruit name (a kid probably named him), it's a quick way to identify themselves too, but Pixi has her own name, I wonder if she came up with it herself?
