Ok, this happened during the last 3 days... in which my mind collapsed after finishing editing "episode 3" and got a big revelation, that I think what was I was fearing all of this time, but I'm glad it just happened out of the blue.
I've been analyzing hard the part 1 of the story, now that I'm fixing up every episode, fixing margins, changing dialogs... and I realized episode 3 is the part where I can "improve" Laura's character in a more effective way.
Laura even in the original comic has an important role in the story, yet... her actual background is just hinted over the entire course of the story, another proof of how much Derideal is a story written without knowing anything about storytelling, and how much of a newbie I was making comics and stories, always underestimating how much time stuff was going to take.
I'm now becoming a little better at stories, so it's also easier to realize certain things that back then I just did by hunch... and also how I've been learning that sometime is much more important to make big changes, instead of keeping the whole spirit of "the original idea". I've made the same mistake many times already, and I guess I should explain this later in a different blog.
anyway, I spend a few days thinking about what to do... and I'll be removing a BIG chunk of episode 3, and replace it with a few new pages that will improve the story.
I have to keep every episode hopefully in less than 40 pages, so this is also something important for this new release.
I don't wanna spoil the new version of the episode, because this one gonna pack the biggest changes... but I'm happy with it, and I think everyone who likes Laura will enjoy seeing a little more of her than the remake originally had.
