I genuinely thought I could catch up this month. Winter storm said nope. Luckily we didn't lose water at all or power for an extended period of time but it took a while for it to stop blinking in and out. I kinda had to give up on getting any drawing done until it stabilized.

You sometimes can't help but inject some of your own flaws onto your characters. In Felix's case he has my annoying tendency to whistle all the time. And my fear of abandonment.*

I think trying to work on one page at a time is really REALLY bogging me down. I think I'm gonna give sketching multiple pages at once a try. Maybe that'll make it a bit smoother. 200+ pages and my workflow still leaves a lot to be desired.

Very sorry for the massive delay. I've been feeling a bit under the weather for the past week+ and had to draw this very slowly bit by bit. Not much different from my normal workflow actually.

Anyway, as a kid I remember my grandma having tons of canned salmon in her cabinets but I don't think I ever saw her eat any of it.

Really trying to stop myself from doing splash pages but I tried so many different layouts and they all felt so noisy or redundant. I guess sometimes all you need is one to set a scene. Comics are hard. Also referencing that painting seemed like such a good idea all the way up until I almost finished drawing it. Hope its not too heavy-handed.

Hey everybody, how was your March. Kinda flew by and I didn't really get any of the stuff done that I was gonna do. What're ya gonna do.

I was gonna wait to post this with the second page since it's just a really simple splash page to start the chapter. But I figured I'd let you guys know I'm still alive.

OOTB exists as an excuse for me to draw the Smoky Mountains a lot. And yes, they are that smoky. I actually toned it down.

The March Pause Nobody Saw Coming

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and pause March so I can keep working on the next chapter. I'm only on page one and I'm already behind schedule. This is just gonna go a lot smoother if I have more prep work done. (I also need to rest my eyes and catch up on cleaning an entire house.)

But I'll try to at least start posting the new chapter this month to make up for February though. I also need to let the public updates catch up I've been forgetting to post them at all oops.

Sorry for the delay. Most of my free time last week was spent cleaning the house for a landlord visit. Not that my house is dirty or anything but I don't want to give them any excuse to linger longer than they need to. (Luckily they were in and out.)

I need to chill on the extreme closeups. In a few pages we'll end up inside Felix's nose or something.
