Derideal episode 2 (Laura edit)
Added 2023-03-13 18:24:00 +0000 UTCHello, this is the new version of Episode 2 of Derideal! it got a ton of changes this one, but no bonus scenes sadly :c
for now just some panel redraws.
most important of this episode is that dialogs should be clear and it should feel faster and shorter without too many in-between "quiet" pages.
changes:
- Many pages cut or merged into new ones.
- all dialogs modified to hopefully make it more clear (rebels and scientists)
- Aden dialogs modified to make him talk more like he was in legacy.
- improved margins and safe areas for printing.
- rebel scenes were resumed.
- page count kept under 30.
- removed many troublesome gradients.
- improved color contrasts in each page.

It's made on purpose like that, I like the idea of maybe everything are just confusing memories of Aden, and he can't really tell what come first or not... plus other subconscious ideas he might have. like, he sees Ivory and other xenos, but did he saw them at some point, or it's just an idea? I didn't wanted it to make sense, just give ideas and make people think that some of that might happen

2023-03-14 19:04:58 +0000 UTCMy first time going through this, the dream sequences were the most confusing since I wasn't sure if they were prophetic or symbolic or what, especially when they start guiding him when he looks to save Laura from surgery later. But I love the idea of his brain rewiring and making connections to things he's not consciously aware of yet.
