Beverly Hills Cop has one of the best soundtracks, this was back when soundtracks were as good as the movie. Or we're at least as important as the movie. The songs you heard during the movie, even though they were made for the film, they were also hit songs played on the radio by top singers at that time. Patti LaBelle ,Kenny Loggins, The Pointer Sisters, Vanity etc.

Beverly Hills Cop is the blueprint for buddy cop movies. It walked so Bad Boys & Rush Hour could run & it was Eddie Murphy’s magnum opus. If you look closely you’ll see Damon Wayans in this movie.

He forced himself to stop laughing like that because whenever someone would do an impersonation of him they would just do the laugh. He said it felt unnatural to stop laughing like that because it was his actual laugh
