Brief Update on Build 0.5.6 (Update 1)

Hi everyone ^_^

Welcome to another weekly build update, covering what I'm planning to work on as part of the upcoming build. Originally, my intention was to move straight onto the Slave School content after the previous build, however, as I'm still a bit rusty I don't want to take on such a big project straight away. As such, this week I'll be working on some prep work for the Slave School (such as related clothing and accessories), along with some general assorted content.

One of my biggest aims this week is to start work on the rework of the skills system, which will see them extended to having 5 levels, and having an experience pool which increases through relevant actions (so sex skills will increase through having sex, etc.). Finally, I'd like to do a little writing, so I'm going to try to get some work done on the planned Slave Catching content and on the Fem/Sissy Trainer content.

As such, my major plans for this build are;

• Add New School Wear - As part of the upcoming school content, which will see an (adult) slave school added into the game, part of that content will involve the player wearing appropriate clothing. There will be an option to wear any outfit you want to the slave school, however, in general being out of uniform will be something which leads to school punishments. The school wear will be added to the shop inventory of Wicked Cheap, though some items will be more spread out, and a uniform will be given to the player for free on their first day at the slave school. 
• Education Stat/Skill - Perhaps the major new skill introduced in relation to the slave school, the education skill will be used in various places. It will be highly involved in certain planned jobs, gatekeeping the players progress in them, along with effecting payouts on other jobs. Education will slowly increase through going to the slave school or through appropriate jobs. I'm not sure how much of the skill I'll be implementing in this build, but I'll at least be writing the basics of it and its related code.
• Skill System Rework - Mentioned previously, I'm intending to overhaul the skill system to work a little differently. There will be more levels to each skill (0-5 instead of 0-3 like currently), along with skills now having experience which increases either through training/eduction or through doing appropriate actions. Getting the basics down on skills will be easy, however, getting up to mastery will be a bit more tricky than it currently is.
• Add New Piercings - A collection of new piercing images arrived for me during the hiatus, so I want to add the corresponding items into the game. The piercing images cover predominantly nipple, clit, and nostril piercings, along with a special hucow ear tag one. I'm intending to also update certain random piercing instances to include some of the new options.
• Slave Catching Intro - This is a lower priority, but I'd like to start at least working towards the basic framework for the catching side of the slave capture and training system. To start this, the first scene will introduce some of the major NPC's related to slave capture, sale, and training.
• Fem/Sissy Trainer - If possible I'd like to continue work on the the Sweet Sissy path of the Fem/Sissy Trainer. The next encounter will be the player visiting their first ballet session, which will be an embarrassing experience for them. It may also end in a more sexual encounter with Laura depending on how the player acts.

Low priority content that I might get around to (or at least that I'm keeping in the back of my mind) includes;

• Player Scene Images Overhaul - This one has been on the back burner for a while, but down various content paths I've saved up a selection of alternate images featuring the male and or female player stand-in. My hope is to change the code to allow players to select whether they see these images or not, but also select whether they only see one gender version of the images, and also be able to select whether it only shows the appropriate image to the player's current genital situation.
• Add New Outfits & Underwear - I've got a few big batches of underwear and outfits still to add to the game. I've been putting them off mostly because I want to get the clothing reclassification done first, but if I can get that done I'll start adding these too. The clothing sets I have saved up include; Pet-Play themed outfits, Hucow themed outfits, degrading/prostitution outfits, some sexy outfits, clothing for the Fem/Sissy Trainer content. There is also a big batch of general underwear images.
• Underwear Store - Seeing as I've got a lot of new underwear images to add to the game, and so far only one real underwear store (that also sells other clothes), I've decided to create a second underwear store for the game. The new store and its owner are already featured in the Fem/Sissy Trainer content for those who are curious.

There were no art polls for last month, but I'll be doing my best to ensure that I get polls out soon.
