During my off day, I wanted to try drawing the modern Fire Emblem dot art style.

Of course, it is not perfect, especially in the surrounding area. The style is only on the characters themselves.

There's an actual tactical sense here... attacking head-on will lead Kaiera to a disadvantage since Spears have advantages against Swords. If one notices Kaiera's attack range, they do have the option to attack at a farther range and can take the enemy easily. Kaiera can be proficient with bows or spells, so I'll leave that to your imagination.

If you haven't seen it, every November I change species for the month.
Honestly, it's an exercise in design on how I can push my character if they're different species.

This year the owl returns just like the bear did 4 times before it! The poll will come up in a few days. Hopefully, no one tries to influence the poll. Yeah, I'm looking at you... > _>

The designs are not final until the poll is over. I might change a few details here and there but that's the basic design done.

When a daring adventurer leaves the path astray, one can get lost in the forest, stumbling upon an aztec-styled settlement adorned in gold and burgundy. A temporary safe haven and protection for those who are lost.

For those who enter, they will find themselves in the domain of Catiq, the soul-holding lesser deity of magical chance. Its people are adorned with the same colors as the domain, wearing an aesthetic similar to egyptian-style clothing, mixed with decorations meant for wizards and witches. All who live here are carefree and living at their best, each individual being a caster versed in magic to the point that its conveniences are part of their everyday life.

Any adventurer ending up in this domain can freely rest and relax from their journey, enjoying its conveniences with no regard to the stresses of time, as time outside the domain stays still. Some say it's a good resting spot for some of the more experienced adventurers out there, allowing them access to facilities found in more dense locations: upgrading, enchanting, buying new gear, or restocking consumables for their journey.

One can, of course, stay around for the night, enjoy its luxury and awe for no cost at all and be on their merry way back to the point where they got lost. Or, one may meet the lesser deity themselves.

Meeting Catiq is definitely an honor. They are the one who deems these lost adventurers worthy to be given a chance for a temporary sanctuary, after all. Being a lesser deity though, they could also give something a bit more than simple respite.

Many would ask for the deity to give them a blessing that could help them on their journey. By the deity's nature it would be random, yet mysteriously magical, but definitely helpful. If the deity offers the challenge to the adventurer, and they accept then the outcome will always result in one of two outcomes.

This fair deity can be challenged with one of two options of the challenger's choosing. A confident adventurer can challenge them to a fair duel of power that they deem most fit, or one can play a simple game of chance of the challenger's choosing. Should they face them in battle, one should always be careful of one who can manipulate the probabilities of magic. The game of chance, however, will always have a twist to make it more interesting for both sides. Either is fair, as Catiq themselves is no trickster and bears no ill will.

The conditions of the challenge are always fixed, and of course, any adventurer can back off from the offer before it starts.

Should the adventurer win, they can be given what they were promised: An unexpected, unpredictable blessing that is mysteriously magical but helpful.

But should the deity win…

Well, let's just say that Catiq gains themselves a new patron for the time being, or they could accept them willingly.

Just like those found outside their chambers…

Either way, the adventurers can leave with newfound power when they are ready to go,

…or if they stay too long, find themselves in the middle of the forest when they wake.

At least these magically-inclined patrons have their new home right around the corner.

So, are you confident enough to ask for the blessing, dear adventurer?
Don't keep me waiting.

This Halloween I wanted to write another character that's similar of use to the Timekeeper, which was surprisingly used in a D&D session.

This time it's influenced by Senty's OC Bastet.

🖌️ Splats!

Kaiera is ready for action~! This is made for the release of Splatoon 3, and a stream I want to do, done in such a short amount of time.

Honestly quite impressive since I feel I'm still rusty from the chaos that is the last two weeks and the visits from the dentist and the sudden decline with lack of sleep. No worries I am quite okay now.

The image was made malleable so I could use different colors!
...for no reason than to change colors because it is funny to do so. :b

Here's my character roster and their references for Art Fight 2022!
Right now it's only 3 but I may add more characters down the line.

All of these characters are available on my Art Fight account for the time being.

The theme is Bloom vs Wither. I'll be on Team Bloom!

So here's the roster: (from left to right)

• Kaiera - the default Kaiera. Not the one used in the story for Furria.
  
• Ruby - Kaiera's young protégé in Furria. As part of Kaiera's team, she helps Kaiera in the duties of the guild and the café. Outside of that Kaiera is training Ruby to be a competent Sav should the time come.
  
• Shin - A high-ranking member of the Paticina Guild, fulfilling the recon role for the main team, as well acting as the right-hand to their leader.
  
  Shin replaces Emiin from last year, who is another member of the same guild.

🚄 Commute.

A warm-up.

I wanted to convey the feeling of being mildly cozy during a cloudy-windy day at sunset time. Of course, it's not the same as what actually happened as I was not commuting, but it does feel that way when I thought about it.

The shading on this one is not as clean as a full piece, but roughly shades how light interacts with everything. It's a good practice piece, but definitely could be better.

Okay, after that whole Ludum Dare debacle, I'm back to making art.

Thanks to you guys, I'm comfortably settled with me and the family from your support!
Sadly, this time around it's actually too close for comfort so I am opening a specific kind of commission that could help things move along.

I think my current design is actually too simple to function as a VTuber design. It was straightforward and simple and not really cut out for it. It was only used to represent myself in VR in public spaces.
