This is what became of Derideal episode 14 cover, it's inspired by a tarot card called "THE MOON" but I guess it also mix up other elements.

the moon card in tarot can be related to a "strong" emotional process, the hidden parts even of ourselves that we can't see or discover easily.

(at least one of its interpretations, but I bet you can guess why this interpretation is important for the comic's future)

This one isn't exactly drawn like a card, but the general vibe is inspired from that concept, @bluelizard mentioned to me once that he related some of the story in the comic to certain meaning in tarot cards... I also have a friend who work reading tarot, so I asked him for some explanation about the cards and themes of the story, and he suggested this card as inspiration.

I know it's something random for a sci-fi comic, and I don't personally believe in tarot as a way to tell or read the future. But I liked the symbolism and I decided to make at least one of the new covers based off a tarot card meaning.

Derideal has a lot to do with "emotions", probably not the happier ones, probably because sad themes resonate more with me, these emotions have always been tied up deep into the story core, under all of the science ficcion, action and military themes.

I picked this episode for this style of cover because I think it's one of my favorites and I could say that "truly" starts the "part 3" of Derideal.
