You have to know that it was one parts anime, one parts gaming, and a whole lot of bulk-bin candy, that had gotten me sober, 8 years ago starting on New Year’s Eve. Having this little para-social community has really made it a lot more appealing for me to unapologetically dive back into the small joys that made me happy before I was of drinking age. Thank you for all the hard work! I love anime/manga, I love games, and I love community! More than self destruction, apparently

Like Matt I really didn’t watch anything except Pokemon as a cartoon. Now every year for my birthday when my wife asks me if there’s anything I want I just reply “I just want you to watch End of Evangelion with me”. Then I watch her expression as she’s watching it and it brings me unlimited joy every year. Keep up the great work!
