x-men: first class [early access]

exciting day we are back in the x-men movies now! here is my edited reaction to x-men: first class!
i LOVED this movie, i think it had a great range of emotions and served as a great origin story for the x-men, professor x and magneto as well.
super excited to continue these movies! thanks for watching with me!

2025-07-04 02:04:54 +0000 UTCSo glad you liked this one! This movie had to do so much. It had to be origin stories for Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, and the X-men as a whole. Plus it had to introduce a new villain and tell a good story, and it does it all in an entertaining and thought provoking way. Also, you are right about Magneto. He is such a compelling character and it is easy to sympathize with his position. If he wasn’t so intent on exterminating humans, he would be great.

2025-06-15 12:35:00 +0000 UTCIn the comics, while most mutants like the X-Men are known by their codenames Sebastian Shaw was mostly known by that name. However, he does have a few mutant titles. The most common one was the Black King. He might not be recognizable right away, but Shaw was portrayed by Kevin Bacon. This was his first Marvel role. Some time later, he would appear as himself in the Guardians Holiday Special which of course leads into Volume 3 which I’m excited for you to check out. 😎😎😎😎😎 It’s interesting to see that Erik had only been able to use his powers when he focused on negative emotions like anger. However, after meeting Charles he realized he could also use positive emotions from happier times in his youth. In a way, it’s almost like learning how to use the Force. (With that said, yes this does very much feel like Star Wars.) Overall, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender did a fantastic job portraying the younger versions of Charles and Erik. They did their best to portray two characters that Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir lan McKellen had already established. Both Charles and Erik delivered good arguments, especially when they were playing chess for the first time (which is also a callback to the end of the first movie). Neither side is entirely right or wrong. It almost feels like Steve and Tony in Civil War. There are humans who would accept them and be more than willing to coexist, but there are also many who would fear and oppose them. Another way to look at it is from an RPG perspective: rage is darkness and serenity is light. Charles was telling Erik to look for the twilight which is their meeting ground. Darwin’s nickname is based on the theory of evolution called Darwinism which English naturalist Charles Darwin took part in establishing. Darwin’s birth name is Armando Muñoz, and he made his comic debut in 2006. Lucas Till always wanted to portray a superhero, but he jokingly said he didn’t want to portray Beast because he didn’t want to go through all that makeup. Lucas instead got Alex Summers/Havok while Nicolas Hoult ended up getting Hank McCoy/Beast. By the way, Nicholas and his castmate Edi Gathegi who portrayed Darwin have roles in the upcoming Superman movie which was directed by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.

2025-06-14 17:28:19 +0000 UTCto be fair magneto isnt trully evil he tends bounce he allways does whats needed to protect mutants so in comics u get him helping the xmen somtimes a good none comic example is cmen destiny the game starts with a speech by the xmen on a cooperative event in a city but the event is attacked by anti mutant exstremists and as u go through the start u see members of the brotherhood of mutants magnetos faction showing uo to fight off the attack when ever their is some big anti mutant event magneto usualy calls a truce and helps the xmen
