Good point, I forgot to mention this in my comment, maybe this is not only for Agatha but all witches and warlocks, we shall see!

Hummm you may be right. I forgot the links between the pin and Agatha. Although, I still believe that there's more to Billy casting this spell than what we've seen. And I don't think it's what freed Agatha, since he casts it after Agatha saw that the pictures represented flowers and not a dead body. So she was already breaking out of the spell before he cast his own spell.

Actually that pin is an object of personal value to Agatha as she took it from her mom. We can see in Wandavision she wears it and in the salem flashback she takes it of her mothers corpse. It also has that piece of hair in it (her sons or Rios? Who knows). The spell most likely didn't work perfectly because Billy is a bit of a newbie at witchcraft. Or it did work since she does break out of it a few moments later, maybe it takes some time for it to start working.

I don't know if you picked that the writers of the show did a clever thing in this episode. You see, in episode 1, Inspector Agnes finds an old pin near Wanda's body (Was it really her body ? Was there even a body ?). In this episode, Billy finds a spell to free Agatha from Wanda's broken spell, but for the freeing spell to work, he needs an "object of value" to Agatha and that's why he does some gentle B&E into Agatha's house. And he thinks he found what he was looking for, but when he uses it for the freeing spell, it doesn't work... Seemingly... Because, what he found is the old pin of episode 1, something of value, maybe, but not to Agatha's eyes. So maybe Billy's spell worked and he freed someone else... Let's go one big step further into speculation and theory... Wanda might not be dead, and instead of freeing Agatha, he freed Wanda from the Darkhold's spell that turned her into a villain. Wouldn't it be neat ?

I don't think Billy can read Agatha's mind. In Wandavision he tells her at some point "Agnes, you're quiet" implying that he couldn't read her mind.

Marvel missed an opportunity to put an end credit here. Ralph Bohner stand up would have been nice.
