YO FOLKS! Here's what we've been up to this week!
First we'll start with a spam of AAART!
There's been like, a dangerous amount of "me not drawing" these days - so figured I could combine my drawing needs with some half hour sketch coms!

Honestly was pretty surprised I was still able to knock these out in that time xD

I'd love to do these more often, it's a good way for folks to get a lil somethin' and me to stay in practice. BUT DANG do I got a lot of shit to do these days lmao. So when I do, it'll be sometime later this year xD
Other than this, I've been up to more TFOL assets! There's now about 6 rooms done, and the other 2 are roughed out. I also got to making THE FINAL CHARACTER'S SPRITE. They kinda dope, not gonna lie, really excited for y'all to meet this character.
I need to get started on some lil content for y'all so we can have a little build this month, so I'll start a poll for that after I post a couple more things. Keep an eye out!

1/28 update:
Hey floofs, happy new week!! I caught whatever flu my housemates had, so it's been a mixed week for me! :O
I redesigned our camera setup to make it lighter on GPU, and to better support cutscene effects we'll be using in Act 4! These are "breaking changes", meaning our old camera scripts aren't compatible, so we'll use the new camera setup in Act 4 rooms and the old cameras in Act 1-3 rooms until I have time to upgrade it everywhere. (It's all under-the-hood, so it'll be seamless/unnoticeable to players!)
I also prepared some new interaction screens for Adventure mode! This'll let you decide whether to start a long sidequest like Blessing of the Bells instead of the quest starting automatically - and also let you cancel it after you start it, if you'd rather play it later. Last year I did a big code rewrite (in a copy of the project) to help us reduce all the bug reports with sidequests that could be played in any order; this is the first phase of those upgrades finally making its way into the game!
Still feeling very under the weather, so I'll keep a steady pace as I rest & recover. Boop you next week! <3

(This is a gif more pertaining to Vixel's last week update, but here's some of the VFX we were messing with for reflections! This will be SUPER important for the Act 4 area, there's a good amount of water, and a good amount of stuff in the water. and I doooon't wanna animate all that xD)
