Starting with A Word from Vixel!
4/04 weekly report:
Heya floofs!! <3 Last week I continued my cleanup and bug-squashing pass, scene by scene, and got mostly done with Central Forest, Lake, and Deep Woods areas! Still have some stuff to finish up in Mountains and Plains this week (especially broken parallax layers for the background art in the Plains), so I'll keep steady at that.
This week I'm also diving into Act 3 content, starting with the inside of the cave at the top of the Mountain! Will be cutting out sprites so Red can walk behind or in front of objects, adding interactive bits, and modeling the edge colliders to define the shape of the room. Looking forward to bringing in a certain big huggable fluffy ice critter we first introduced a couple years ago in our original Itch demo, too... :>

On my side, I've been kinda hopping around various parts of the project! I did the color on this Melody animation so we can test having someone color it for us. I've actually got a few of these Act 3 animations roughed out, I should get back into working through em!
Other than that, I've been pushing ahead with some more Patreon critters. Check this one out! I got to design this one from scratch for the game :>
