YO FOLKS!

Let's chat about what we've been up to the past week.

We'll start with A word form Vixel!

2/8 weekly report

Finished importing and scripting the new critter dates! (There are 4 total, one with a full color illustration.)

Also brought in part 2 of the Lanora legend. (Another full color illustration.) Some minor scripting to go.

Will finish importing the remaining gossip conversations next session! Then I have some odds and ends (character portraits, inventory items, a few leftover bugs) to finish before preparing the next build! ^^

On my side, we came up with some to-dos last week that I've been tending to! Some required some new assets, like theeeeese!

I've always wanted these sorta assets sprinkled around the world. They look a lot like gravestones when they are together like this lmfao. So I might tweak some stuff. but they look a lot more like rubble/extra stuff when spread apart xD

See? not too grave-stone-y... lmao. Likely we'll keep it in for now and then massage it later on. Lots of elements like this are in a like "good enough" stage, so we can move forward with content! I'm cookin' up a lil somethin' special with these guys :> Still gotta... cook it though...

I've also been making progress on Finley and Rascal's animation! Still considering good cleanup workflows to get some additional help for production!

Most of last week, I was working on mocks of 2 mini games! One we're working on the system for currently, the 2nd one is likely SUPER far out. 

Unfortunately, I don't want to show either yet since the surprise of the first one is gonna be dope, and the 2nd one won't be any time soon (likely) - so for now I'll keep sitting on them. BUT JUST SAYIN, STUFFS LOOKIN COOL! We're planning on some longer term mini games that are super fun, expandable, and will likely have a surprisingly high skill ceiling x)

Oh! And here's some of those adjustment we're thinking about doing.

This layout's a bit more convenient for seeing Critter dates! It's a small change, plus a bit of landscaping to get some extra room in those parts! Still might do a bit more on the bottom right...

Anywho yep!
