We did just drop the build yesterday, but we promised weekly posts, and we will deliver!
Let's start with a word from Vixel!
1/18 weekly report
Finished scripting the bunny cuck scene!! This is the first scene with a background character (Peter) running his own independent set of loops. There's a nifty little AI script I wrote to control him too that I'll share more about in the coming days. ^^
Added Scarlett & Bucky date and Dates tutorial, and Mabel & Dustin date. The dates feature adds some extra story spice by putting characters together for a surprise chat at the stone table near Maverick's shop! We'll be further expanding Dates in upcoming builds.
Added Mabel solo story (a gossip conversation). This one shares the juicy details of some of her past affairs in three comic panels, and was a ton of fun to work with.
Made the monthly builds and did some build support! Fixed a major bug causing critter log/inventory pages to ping-pong. o.O Still plenty more bugs to go - thanks yall very much for reporting them! <3 Will be working on fixing those ASAP!!

During our call last night we caught up on some workflow stuff, and started to revamp how we'll be going about some promotional gifs! We ran into a LOT OF ISSUES when it comes to certain gif capturing software and adobe's products lmao. It was a trip. But we finally figured out something pretty solid!
It's side stuff like this that you don't even consider when wanting to develop a game xD! So much little random crap to figure out haha. But it's a solution we needed! The more post processing effects, the more the gifs can become super bloated, so we needed to figure out a good really efficient workflow.
On my side, I've started jumping into a bit of Act 3 assets! I'm jumping the gun for sure, but I like having some of this stuff being solid!

The sweater involved a revamp of all of our basic movement animations, including dodge roll. 60 frames in total! Not to mention another 15 for equipping/unequipping :>
Also made some progress on Finley/Rascal's animation! Here's the foundation for the background.

I made a bit of progress on the loops, but I'm not 100% sold just yet!

New interior roughing out! More Act 3 stuff :O! Again, jumping the gun. this won't be in any time soon.
Lastly, been doing a lot of writing again! Act 2 still has a lot of stuff that needs to be fleshed out, so I've made a new Obsidian document just for Act 2 extra/side content! Here's what it looks like so far!

The right is the timeline document, as I go down the list, I make those new documents and they populate the list on the left! I've semi-organized them in folders based on what needs doing. So as you can see there's a bit more to do haha.
Buh, I can't get over how handy Obsidian has been. 10/10!

I've been wanting to include all of these parameters for a while, and Microsoft Word made this whole process pretty clunky. But now we can clearly document every gossip/date/quest with this format! Seeing what comes first/what it unlocks etc.
The main timeline works for our campaign since it's linear, but we're slowly building out a lot more modularity/non-linear content. So we needed this change in workflow for sure! It's dope, big horny.
