Let's start with a word from Vixel!
"12/14 weekly report!
I spent the first part of the week polishing up v0.14 before the build, including extra bugfixes and an upgrade to our dialogue system to allow more flexibility with left- and right- aligning critter portraits. (Now that we have a conversation with three critters at once, we needed a way to make one critter the 'focus'. You can see that in action when delivering the shovel! Bucky and Scarlett's portraits stay aligned on the left since they're support, and Dustin's aligns on the right since he's primary!)
Finished the v0.14 builds on Thursday morning! On Saturday and Sunday I also fixed the bunny cuck scene softlock bug, and a bug causing corrupted savegames. (Bugfixed builds are in dropbox now!)
Midweek I also revisited our design for asset spawners and wrote some new scripts to help! In the old design, there's a master script that lives in every scene, that checks rules and spawns critters/props/triggers. This is bad because huge scripts tend to be buggy and hard to maintain, and by living in every scene this script caused Unity to preload assets for all scenes all the time, wasting memory. In the improved design, assets only live in the scenes where they're used, and the spawn rules are stored ON each asset without needing a master script! Through the rest of the month I'll be steadily converting existing assets to use the new spawner design. ^w^"

On my end, more animating and more writing!
Bunny cuck scene is VERY CLOSE to being done now! So totally on track for it being in the next build. The transition and end loop are done regarding the main animation, and cleaned up. Just gotta do a polish/lighting pass, and then the cum! I've also animated most of Peter's actions as well. Just need to make a quick idle for him at the end, and give him some quick transitions (1-2 frames since he's small).
I've actually split a bit more time to focus more on writing! In particular, The Act 2 Finisher Quest! I'm super stoked for you guys to see it, since it really starts to show what else we've got planned :> It's nothing TOO crazy... but it is different!
I've also been focusing on some extra gossips, and Mabel's Story! Here's a sneak peak of the sketches for her story.

I'm not 100% sure about these just yet, or the format of a multi-scene image, but it does fit the style of her story. Could totally change, but for now, figured I'd share it :>!
Lastly. I would like to note. We have been making a strong content push lately, and we would like to keep up this pace. But I must insist - Though we are coming to the end of act 2 content-wise, there's still A LOT we want to implement before Act 2 is fully done. Aside from a few mini games (one quite large) - there's the systems I kept mentioning before. Those systems are critical for the "progression feel" of the game, and once they're in, it'll start to show how Act 2 is different than Act 1.
So despite being "near the end" in terms of the main-campaign quest line. There's plenty to flesh out around the edges. So Act 2 won't be done for a while still. I don't want to set a date since that just encourages crunch time and bad work habits, expectations, and inevitable disappointment when we delay it lmao. But do know we will be working our hardest within reason and doing our best to show ya guys some fun stuff :>
