Patreon's Changes to Fees
Added 2017-12-08 02:47:03 +0000 UTCIf you haven't heard, Patreon will be putting the onus for fees onto Patrons starting on the 18th. I, along with many others, am not a fan of this decision and hope staff will change their mind.
If the changes do go into effect, I will change the $2 and $5 pledge amounts so that they will remain the same for you after fees. Most of you by far fall into this category, and if you're someone who is supporting a lot of creators at $1 or $2 the changes to fees will be costly.
Keep an eye out for updates and fingers crossed! And thank you to everyone who has supported me in making these comics. You guys have been great and I want to keep producing content for you!

2017-12-09 21:28:37 +0000 UTCI've seen that Gumroad plans to do away with transaction fees entirely, TBH that might be the best incentive for Patreon to get their heads out of their asses. They're trying to spin this as a boon to creators but really, Patreon is the only one benefitting.
