Game News Update (November 2021)

I'm a day early but been busy as of late and had some time to write this out. Overall I have some good news and bad news.

Good News:
I have been making progress on the witches academy and can say now that I plan to have a release out sometime this month. Likely expect toward the end of the month but should things work out, I may have it available sooner. All the maps are build and all the npcs have been made as well. I have roughly half of the eventing complete and once that is done I should be pretty much ready to release. Also work on the hyperpreg art is making progress and hopefully within the next week or two I can reveal it. I'll be starting up another poll likely on the 1st or 2nd of November. I found a sprite artists as I've shown before who has help speed things up and look forward to sharing the sprite art as well.

Bad News:
I have been dealing with a lot of stress as of late, mostly coming from my workplace. To give some context, the state in which I work has made a mandate that all goverment and state workers (includes me) must have the covid vaccine. While I am vaccinated (no worries there) many others in my workplace have chosen not to follow the mandate and have been terminated from there positions. These leaves my current workplace under staffed and a bit chaotic. I'm doing the best I can but due to this, I tend to come home very tired and my motivation to work on the game has been very small the past few weeks. I plan to get some more work done this month to have the new build ready but thought it should be fair to let you all know how things are going.

Again, thank you for your patience and I look forward to sharing the new build later this month.

I know the feeling. It's hard when you work stupidly long hours and have no urge to work on your passion or even get things done. I heard it's gotten to the point now that a lot of people are flat out walking off the job and finding different places to work because it has gotten that bad now. Try to not burn yourself out, and try to take everything one step at a time.

I won't get into my thoughts on these mandates but I will say I get how you feel about having to cover for others. You take the time that you need, your delivering a quality product and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we don't want you burning yourself out.
