Rogue-Like 1.61b (Still iffy)

Ok, yeah, there was an issue with the last one, which hadn't shown up with what I did test, but apparently was causing some issues, so hopefully this version should sort it. After this, let me know if character A shows up when you were expecting character B, or something like that (although if you load up a 1.6 save, there might be a bit of glitching right after the save point). I may need to do a better job isolating some variables. I'd been trying something new, and it works in isolated conditions, but could spill around the edges because I'm not used to it.
Ok, I've got some good news and some bad news. Remember how I said there'd be another 1.6 build before 1.61? Well, I'd ended up monkeying around with it enough that I didn't trust it until I'd finished what I'd started, so I went and finished 1.61. This one might be a bit glitchy though, because I made some significant changes to the back end, and it should make the game run faster and hopefully smoother, but might have some unexpected problems, so we'll see how that goes. So what's new?
Oh, and standard disclaimers here, don't download this copy if you just want to enjoy playing the game, because I expect there to be some annoying bugs right now. If you just want to have fun, relax, wait a week or two and see how the bug reports are looking. If you do play and find bugs, please report them, either here, or PM me. If there is a crash, please post the crash report, those details can be useful. If it's not a crash but just something weird, just try to explain it as best you can. I'd also recommend trying to keep a save near where the problem was, so we can see if the fix worked.
- Wanda gets her BJ and TJ activities.
- Kitty gets her 69 pose.
-I added a toggle in the Options menu that should stop new girls from showing up while active. This is if you want to focus on some early characters before unlocking new ones. Let me know how it goes.
-Various small image changes in various poses.
-Things should run a bit faster.
Fixed this build (hopefully):
- Several crash bugs involving variables not found.
- Changes to Laura's BJ animations that should look a bit better.
- Fixes to Wanda's BJ pose when you cum in her mouth
- Certain events weren't playing in the last version that should now trigger properly

Hmm, what is the exact line of dialogue they use? I can often track down what specifically is triggering that. Off the top of my head, it's possible you did something to annoy them, which would decrease their check scores. It does sound like they aren't registering that you've done that specific act before though. Each activity is both tracked separately and in combination. Try asking them in chat what their favorite activity is.

2025-02-24 03:21:47 +0000 UTCi have this same issue with every update and i don't get why it happens. a bunch of the girls start acting like we never had sex or did any for play. for this last update it was Doreen and Betsy saying "i don't think I'm ready for that yet". with their bars full i have don't nothing to piss them off that i know of.... unless having fun with Wanda triggered it. they were just fin before the update an and they even join in for 3 ways but they wont do as i say anymore.

2025-02-23 21:55:05 +0000 UTCThe error people have been getting that says "jumped queue" should be fixed when I put out the next version, but in the meantime doing even one "wait" cycle *should* cure it. The issue is that I didn't properly default a variable, so it looks for one that isn't there, but any time you do a wait cycle it should create that variable anyway, so that should "fix" it.

2025-02-20 23:18:39 +0000 UTCThis is kind of weird but it’s worked for me. But when loading into an established save. I ran into non stop errors entering pretty much anything. I tried waiting repeatedly for like a day (in game) and then saved and reloaded and didn’t have those errors.

The only real issue I guess is that not all girls have a doggy or standing pose in which their legs are close enough together to sell the animation, and if I have to redo an entire set of legs that's a whole different level of work to it.

I've thought about doing a "reversed standing pose" but it would involve a lot of work for something that wouldn't have as much versatility as existing poses, so I just feel like that time would be better spent on other projects.

They are stored in Windows user data, and so long as the game is fundamentally the same one (which this one is), it handles all save files as the same thing between versions. There's also a saves folder in the game directories that I believe you can copy-paste over if you prefer.

BUG 2: If you don't ask Gwen who she is and move forward with the dialogue, her name will stay as (???) even though you can introduce her as Gwen in the dialogue options with Xavier.
