Behind the scenes EP26: We have an extra studio space!

It has been a while since I've made a behind the scenes video, but here we are! Since I got back from MRRF a lot has happened. I brought Covid with me, so I had to recover while I also had to make content due to my sponsorship. Long story short, it was hectic and now I'm feeling a lot better.

This extra studio helps a lot with getting more efficient and therefore getting more rest. Daniel is also going to do more for the channel. He's good at a lot of things I'm lacking at and we agreed to continue on this journey together. This way we can get more out of the channel and I keep my sanity :D

I'm looking forward to the upcoming projects, I've got a good feeling about this!

I'm very happy with Daniël as a partner. Things were starting to pile up and I sometimes had trouble with actually enjoying it. I've heard that the Mosaic Palette is able to do that, but it would be nice if something like this can be done within the extruder itself. Interesting challenge and I'll keep it in mind! Thanks for your suggestion! Cheers, Jón

Sometimes you fall into a hole, or you don't have any ideas, or you just don't feel like it anymore, then maybe your partner can help you. I think it's very good that you want to start the journey as a team. I have an idea for you. We 3D print a lot, why don't you invent something that also works to change a filament roll without having to stop the printer? For example, if the roll is empty in the middle of the night. One roll is empty, printing continues automatically with another roll, and now the first roll can be changed in peace or with a few hours delay. I have a few ideas on how to do this with three extruders. But I don't want to say too much about it, so as not to steer you in one direction before you have thought about the problem. It should, if possible, be a solution that works without having to change the firmware. Best regards Ralf from Beyond Traces - www.ArduinoClub.de
