Behind the scenes EP25: Large scale 3D printing!
Added 2022-05-01 12:29:55 +0000 UTCHi guys! I just got back from a relaxing holiday and I received an enormous 3D printer! It's the Optimus P1 https://www.optimus3dp.com/p1 which was also used by RCLifeOn in which he printed a 1:1 scale version of himself.
I've got some interesting projects for it in mind, among them the 3D printed wheel (yes, a wheel, not a rim ;)) and a single piece guitar. There are more projects further down the line like a 3D printed PC and airsoft gun, but these are for later.
Regarding the airless tire idea: If you have tips regarding softening polymers like I did with PETG and MEK, but better. Please let me know!
