Million dollar idea?

Hi everyone! I mentioned parts of this idea before in earlier behind the scenes videos and the discord chat, but things have sped up. I was randomly watching a video by Integza and he mentioned a contest with the goal to move the 3D printing industry forward. This is the link to that contest https://event.3d.ru/

The price is a maximum investment in the project of $1.000.000,- and I think that this is an interesting idea to submit. The odds that I saw that part of Integza's video three weeks before the deadline while working on this for almost a year while all pieces are just falling together are quite slim. I forgot to mention that I haven't heard of his channel before I had a chat on Formnext with a guy who contacted me the day before I got there. So, I've worked my ass off xD

I'm going to submit the video presentation together with the actual presentation in pdf format. If I win or not, this will be an epic subject to make a video about and I finally hope to achieve a well working affordable continuous fiber printer!

Thanks for your support and if you have any suggestions, please let me know :D

Awesome, can’t wait to see it!

Hi Jake! Yes definitely. I'm currently working on a video in which I test this by 3D printing a guitar neck. I had to make some improvements along the way and it's looking good. I hope to publish the video by the end of this week/start of next week!

Hello, are you still planning to publish files for the belt drive extruder? I want to do some testing with it in a Bowden configuration. It looks like it could solve some problems that are common to the dual drive gear extruders.

I saw that video too and indeed it would be a good idea to look at their parents. Thanks for bringing up! Let's see if I can find them

Just watching 3DPN's latest video showing a MASSIVit machine which they describe as "gel deposition with UV curing" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSE2q_ejjKc They claim to have "50 patents" around the technology so it would worth looking into their solution and how its different from yours!

Exactly what i just thought of when i saw the pump, something feeding on a conveyor belt, that could just spit out "cookie dough" for processing somehow. Now that it is christmas time and all 🎅🎄 (and i was actually thinking of the troublesome syringe video, so I guess i watched just about everything you created, lol, stalk much)

Thanks a lot Jan for your awesome comment! Exactly! With this idea I can revisit the food printer too and this time I don't need a syringe. Maybe I should incorporate this on the CR-30 too now you mention the automated cookies. How freakin' awesome would that be!

This will most definitely get you noticed and maybe even it will catch an investment... As always I think your designs are out-of-this-world-geniously good, this is no exception. I especially like the Peristaltic pump design, not alone for infusing wires and such, but also merely the fact that you actually created something i've never seen... sort of like a "bowden style liquid paste 3d extruder". This in itself could disrupt the entire industry with low-priced Paste-printing solutions for home use.(read: cookies print automation :D )

Wow 23 years, can't compete with that! Thanks a lot Kurtis for your offer to help. I'll keep this in mind in case I'll need it. Who knows, this project might get out of hand.

Love it! I know you are uber capable with 3d design, but I am a 23 year SolidWorks designer. If you need any assistance with anything I would be more than happy to pitch in to help you... AmpacityLabs.com on Patreon

Thanks Oscar!

Great invention. Good luck. Hope you win!!
