Behind the scenes EP16: Failed video idea?

Hi guys! At first I thought it would be a good idea to only show the summary and results of the tensile testing, but it turns out to be too interesting. We came up with the idea to make a vlog in which I show all cool things in this studio which are too small for a dedicated regular video. We've made a video and although I like it myself, I don't think that this would interest enough people. For now this will be the one and only vlog on this channel exclusively shown to you.

Please let me know what you think of this concept and if this would be a fun idea for the future when I have more time to put into the channel. Have an awesome day!

Thanks! Yes, we definitely should!

I don't mind videos in vlog style, especially the ones from you... it was fun watching it! We should meet irl as Dutch content creators

Thanks man! The pull test is actually part of the mini series Project rim :) I'm starting to think that a stand alone video is being watched better. For now I think that the best thing I can do is to show the updates here on Patreon rather than making a vlog video. Next time with not as much camera shake haha xD

Maybe you could split your content into smaller logical chunks and make a miniseries about that. 'The journey to stronger parts' or something like that. I can imagine that vlogs are a bit easier to edit. It all depends on how frequently you want to share videos with public audience and how well the content can be condensed into a reasonable length video. If it's half an hour long, fewer people will probably be watching it. I for myself enjoy watching the small updates here on Patreon and wouldn't mind to have more of them. As Keith mentioned the camera shake was a bit problematic and the ending was a bit abrupt but yeah ... maybe ginea pig us patreons with 1 or 2 more and gather some feedback.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Daniël thought he would be able to pull it off without the shoulder rig😆

Hello, I thought the vlog was entertaining. I'm a pretty big nerd though,my opinion isn't the best. The shaky video in the beginning was unappetizing, audio was real good. The candid nature of the video was refreshing.
