Behind the scenes EP12: The good, the bad and the awesome

Hi guys! I've got some good news, some bad news and some awesome news as I explain in this video. I really need to take some rest since I feel more tired than I should feel. Some other things like waiting for almost 3 months for the customs to release the CR-30 doesn't help either... I don't want to rant about it, be too negative or feel bad, but I need to let you guys know that I'm having a little break.

On the other hand, awesome things are happening and I'm convinced that I will come back stronger than ever! I really hope that I can move to that studio soon and start fresh. I'll keep you posted.

I'm not having a burn-out, I'm just preventing it so don't worry ;)

Neem je tijd <3 komt allemaal goed! <3 <3 <3

Thanks! I hope so too and I can't wait for that new studio!

Thanks Mitch! Yes, so many things going on in your head constantly. That constant feeling of having to finish the things you've started, especially when there are more is quite exhausting. 20 plus hours of sleep definitely is a clear indicator that you should take a step back xD I'm going to take some rest, stop worrying about my channel and get fully recharged!

Thanks Bob! I was a bit hesitant to admit this at first, but in the end it's the best for everyone to be honest about it :) I'm so looking forward to that studio!

Bedankt man! Ff een stap terug op zijn tijd is ff nodig en gelukkig ben ik happy, alleen een beetje verrot xD Dus, ff een break en dan weer knallen :D Bedankt voor je support!

Thanks Martijn! The hardest part is admitting it. I don't want to be in a victim role, but I think it's important to let people know. I'm looking forward to that separate studio, I can't wait! Hopefully Wednesday will give more certainty and I'll post an update soon after that.

Thanks Jimmie. I wish you the best! Indeed, regroup and more cool stuff will come :D

Thanks Oscar, I will. Lots of things to look forward to :D

Thanks Steven!

Thanks man! The current situation indeed doesn't help at all. I think that this is a good time to take a step back. Separating life from work sounds like a good plan. Take care and hopefully this situation ends soon.

Smart choice with taking a break. Thanks for letting us know what's going on. I hope the break helps rejuvenate you and can't wait to see the new studio!

Good to hear you are taking a break. You have been been working a lot of projects and working them in parallel. That definitely leads to burnout quickly. I can always tell when I’m getting there because I end up needing to sleep for 20 plus hours in a row just to get back to functioning normal. You need to take care of yourself as you know yourself better than anyone. Get rested and recharged and I look forward to seeing your awesome projects again in the future Jon!

Thanks for your honesty Jon. It's better to take it slow when you feel to. Take your time for the good and fun stuff. And I agree with Martijn. Separating life from work is one of the best things you can do. Hopefully you'll get the new studio. Take it easy!

I'm thoroughly impressed that you know when it's time to take your foot off the gas and then actually act on it as well. Good for you and your creativity! Hopefully you can move into the new space soon. Having a separate studio for work stuff has panned out wonderfully for two of my creative relatives.

Do what you got to do man I'm there myself, regroup, thanks for all the cool stuff.

Enjoy your downtime, look forward to you returning with some more awesome content. Take care

Take the time you need! With all the things going on atm, staying home all the time, I too have sometimes the feeling that I could need (and should take) some time off, to separate work from life a bit. I hope you get better soon.

Good luck dude!
