Behind the scenes EP9 Some ideas for 2021

In this last behind the scenes video of 2020 I tell a bit about the things I want to do next year. This is the tip of the iceberg, but I'm really looking forward to it! Let me know what you think of it and if you want, share what you're planning to do in 2021. Thanks for the support, have a great Christmas and a happy new year :D

Behind the scenes EP9 Some ideas for 2021

Oh wow, very nice, great plans for 2021. I have several things. Further building on the Zach 1 the cantilever Cartesian 3D printer, test fitting everything, improving where it is needed, and if it works right out of the box, then put it into the open for everyone for a little payment or so... but also starting my own business... in 3D printing

Looking forward to watching your content grow in 2021. Keep having fun, it shows through in your videos.

Happy holidays to you, see you in 2021

Thanks for your video. Really look forward to your new projects.

Damn and I thought I had much going on xD This is very interesting stuff man! Are you going to share the results? That spider sounds so cool, fun topic for the spiderbro subreddit ;)

Wrapping up some projects is a great idea to end the year with! About the enclosure, I created airflow between the outer and inner box where the electronics are. I have airflow due to convection on the inside (which is forced by the two fans below the heater), but this is hot air. I wrapped the enclosure with a flame retardant blanket because I had to raise the temperature to 70 degrees C. The inside of the enclosure is almost fully closed because I used that large custom connector. I only have an opening at the back where the tubes com in. This is where the heater is too so this isn't a problem and helps with cooling the Y motor.

Thanks Vincent! The more awesome stuff we do the less there will be left for anything negative ;)

Thanks Jan! I think I will try with some primer first. Because it's inside of the tyre it doesn't care how it looks and I think that primer should be thin enough to creep inside the small cavities and thick enough to close all gaps. We'll see :)

I'm not sure about 2021 yet, but i'm trying to wrap up a few of my personal projects in the last two weeks of 2020. Most of the things that i've seen / experimented with say to block airflow to help prevent warping. With your enclosure, what things can you do to help it?

Awesome, I am totally not going to think of anything negative for 2021, so let's crack on with awesome stuff like you plan to do. Love the channel, love the engineering struggles, thanks for making it!

Awesome ideas, they come pouring out of you, it's like insane :-) But most of all finishing the Rims will be so nice, especially the part about pressurizing the rims I look forward to... been testing how watertight i could make prints myself, heatergunned it, thicker prints, different printersetting for overlay, coating, but as of yet I have not been able to create a really watertight model of a vase-thing project I did with my daughter, so I'm interested to see how you approach this. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you all 😊
