Birthday art - shisanyao
Added 2024-07-18 02:22:28 +0000 UTCI was requested to do an Anthro arrangement of Gouging Fire, a Pokémon that still has minor fan art.
Inspired by Gouging Fire's distinctive head, I was given the idea of making it look like a samba carnival-like costume, but the end result was personally satisfying.
I tried to keep as much as possible to the Gouging Fire prototype, making the spikes look like decorative feathers, but not interfering with the range of motion of the other poses. I also tried to reproduce the male samba carnival dancers, whose physique was muscular but not nubile, and whose overall silhouette was straight, which I thought was cool.
