September 11th Weekly Journal (Trinity)

I love pop culture, so I hope you'll indulge my new weekly post  where I share my thoughts on what I consume. I promise to have a pretty girl featured with all this, and you can even suggest who you'd like to  see featured next week. More than that I want to know what you're watching, playing, or reading to stay sane these days, and if you agree with my assessments.

Also, as a bonus for being a Patron you'll always get a nude version of the image!

Stay safe and healthy out there, and have a wonderful weekend!

Tyler :)

Comments

I watched the first few episodes of Wynona Earp, but that was around the time I got burned out on Supernatural and it felt very similar. Heard it's carved it's own path in later seasons, so I may go back and give it a look.

I really like this idea. I'm a geek and I love to talk about pop culture stuff myself, so this right up my alley. Sorry it took me so long to comment here, but I had a lot to talk about and needed some time to sit down and get it all down. I'm trying to start watching Wynonna Earp. Seems up my alley. Seems similar in tone to shows like Warehouse 13 and Legends of Tomorrow, both of which I really love. Saw the first episode and liked it, but I was feeling stressed out that day. So I was distracted and had kind of a hard time investing myself in the show. I will have to see how watching the second episode will go. I still think I would like it. I also have to finish catching up on The Good Place. Got up to the beginning of season 3, but haven't watched in months. Got to get back to watching that. And also have to finish watching the latest season of Doctor Who. Had only seen the first episode of this past season until last week when I binged three more episodes, slowly but surely, catching up. I don't care much for anime, but there's an anime that kind of interested me called Yu Yu Hakusho. The concept at least interested me, so I'll watch the first episode and see if I'm interested in watching more. And I haven't seen the new Bill and Ted movie, but I hear good things about it. I'm not a huge fan of the first two, but I grew up having seen those movies, so I have a little bit of nostalgia for them. Looking forward to checking out the third movie. I'm listening to Felicia Day's book, Embrace Your Weird: A Guided Journal for Facing Your Fears and Unleashing Creativity, on Audible. Also been meaning to read Good Omens and then finally watch the TV show adaptation. I have an Xbox One. The games I have for it are Sonic Mania (haven't finished), Lego Marvel Superheroes (haven't finished), Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy (haven't finished; got stuck), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (haven't started yet) and Rare Replay (haven't played yet). Also have Forza Horizon 3, Assassin's Creed Origins and Cuphead, which came with the system when I won it in an online contest. So, I'm not too interested in playing those three games (kind of interested in Cuphead, but I hear it's really hard and that seems like to me it would stop being fun pretty quickly). I also have a Steam account with a bunch of games, but my laptop, even with a cooling fan, heats up and has a hard time running those games. So it's been a very long time since I've played any of those games. Been considering getting a new laptop, as my current laptop is almost 6 years old. So maybe then, I'll try getting back into playing games on Steam. Anyway, that's it for now. I look forward to more of these journal posts.

I'll have to check Spellbreak out, but my PVP skills have regressed in recent years :)

TGTrinity

All look good, though Chronicles nearly broke me. I love Terry Brooks, but the show didn't land for me at all.

TGTrinity

When it comes to metal there is only one band: Dethklok :)

TGTrinity

Really enjoying both as well :)

TGTrinity

I know of but haven't seen Aggretsuko, but I'll add it to the list :)

TGTrinity

Bill & Ted Face The Music WAS pretty good, wasn't it? There was some real heart in that movie. I'm currently struggling through Mulan and hoping it's a short one. As for recommendations, have you watched Aggretsuko on Netflix? It's an animated show about a depressed office worker who uses death metal kareoke to escape her stress and anxiety. It's fantastic.

Papa Dragon

Games - Ghost of Tsushima (hunting the platinum trophy xD) TV Series - Lovecraft Country (I love lovecraftian horror and this is really good so far)

Holy crap, Trinity looks absolutely amazing in that one piece. The mesh panels and the colour are just perfect. This is probably the best image of her I've seen. ---- As for the other stuff - work, writing programs for athletes who are trying to qualify for an Olympics that may or may not happen next year, meetings, on-line courses, covering for other staff who are down sick. No movies. No TV. No Series, No exercise, Barely enough sleep, No time. My only external pleasure at the moment is TGC, Patreon and DA, plus I've discovered the Finnish symphonic metal band, 'Nightwish', and I am obsessed. I just bought almost all of their albums, so that's what I do whilst on my computer - Boring, I know. It will be worth it if we win medals.

I love this idea. Just a community pop culture discussion and a chance to get to know our favorite artist. Super cool! I sat down to watch an episode of The Boys, just to see what the hype was about, and I'm now current to today's episode. I'm glad to see that Bill and Ted is a solid movie, I've been afraid it would sully the originals. Also I just checked out Spellbreak for the first time. I'm not generally a fan of battle royale games, but this one has me hooked. A big battle slinging elemental spells? Yes please!
