New music! New models!

Now in on the beta branch and looking to get pushed live here very shortly is our first original background music track! This is thanks to the duo team know as:

To quote Dana from Pixel Noise in our Discord server:

" Hopefully, the track gave you a sense of quiet loneliness - that was definitely the intended vibe. I think we accomplish this with the opening/closing. However, we also wanted it to provide some amount of drive and motion, hence, the middle portion.

Please consider the BGM a WIP (work in progress) - just as the game itself is!

Ultimately, we will almost certainly be using middleware such as Wwise to control when and how the music plays, in dynamic fashion. For example - if you are just walking around gathering in the daytime, you would likely hear more of the atmospheric stuff from the opening/closing of the track. Maybe some event triggers the more intense middle portion to play, such as combat; or possibly a much different version of the track kicks in! Nighttime? New track/layers.

It's essentially impossible to accomplish all of these moods in one static BGM track - but hopefully this gives you a sense of what is to come with the music, and how the overall sound will hopefully respond to and contribute to what you are doing in game! "

They've got a much better grasp on all things audio than I could ever muster just dabbling in it, so I'm hoping to leave as much of it up to their experience and the feedback of our community as I can. The next track is already in the works, and we're hoping to keep up a pace of at least one track a month for now thanks to the support of all our Patrons!

There are a number of new building pieces on there way in shortly as well. Terribly late, but these things happen. There's still a few small problems I'm trying to get sorted out with them and then I'll patch them in, and likewise we can get started on more pieces and placeables.

I think I will run a poll or a small survey to try and determine what kind of objects players would like to see in game. Things to decorate walls with, more building shapes and skins, more furniture, etc.

In the meantime I've been patching up the hole in multiplayer. Fishing, cooking, and farming are next on the todo list, and things are moving along quite nice.

I hope you're having a Happy Thanksgiving if that's a thing wherever you may be!
