Version 0.1.09 is now live on Steam! I spent a little more time on this branch than I like to, in part because of a string of national holidays here in Japan and my birthday, but there's a lot of new features now in-game!
As seen in the title image I added a new obelisk model and have them visually shooting at demons and monsters. This is still very much a work in progress tied close to town management via the solace upgrade fights.

The first batch of town buildings are the resource gatherers. Not currently gathering resources actually (I want to get in better methods of mass storage) but scanning the surrounding area for rare resources. Getting your hands on Rare, Elite, and Legendary resources was quite the challenge without this feature, and certainly still no walk in the park, but we are now able to confirm if at least there is any of what we're looking for in our area, and where to find it

Which makes use of the new world map. This map unlocks a map chunk every kilometer you walk (technically every 1024 meters). Currently it draws the player, solaces, solace scanning ranges, scanned resources, terrain, and will mark locations where you die. Resources and each of the four rarities (not including common resources) are toggleable.

Also in are equipment and storage chest coloring. When storage chests start piling up it's a pita to try and manage what's where at times. This lets players at least label chests in some way to differentiate them from one another. In the future I plan to look into letting players actually write on the storage chests themselves.
Storage chests are now also upgradeable offering much more storage space for crafting with higher tier and higher rarity materials. Likewise backpacks were added in, letting players carry up to double the items in their inventory.
