Demo update
Added 2024-12-31 16:46:29 +0000 UTCWhat's new?
-The update finishes the re-written dragon friend scene that was added at the beginning of the month.
-There's also a couple dragon lore-related changes to the first night's feast scene.
-I've also begun editing the tournament scenes. Now we see Mordred and their dragon friend working together on getting their knights ready for the trials. I've only gotten as far as the very beginning of the first day, before Gawain calls out to Mordred.
Since the update is a short one, I decided I won't change the password this time.

2025-01-08 22:05:51 +0000 UTCLike it was mentioned before, they’re not beasts- they’re fully sentient, sapient, and consenting people. It’s exactly like elves/humans being in a relationship imo; elves aren’t human, are typically longer-lived, and often there’s a significant age gap. If anything, a dragon romance makes the most sense here since Mordred has the bloodline power of being able to communicate telepathically, to control fire magic, and grow dragon scale armor. Plus, Mordred’s dragon has been a friend for most of their life.

2025-01-08 22:05:28 +0000 UTCThank you for the feedback! Yes, I am planing on changing the ice cream mention to something like "sorbet" since it sounds less anachronistic. As for the dragon romance, as Anon Ymous mentioned above, it would make no sense for human-dragon relationships not to exist in the world of BoC. It is not bestiality because dragon are persons and the fact that they do not have a humanoid body doesn't change that.

2025-01-08 20:17:10 +0000 UTCI mean I guess it is fine if it is taboo but I don't see how a human or dragon relationship is a comparable one yes they are intelligent yes they can talk to humans but biologically it is competently different it isn't like say a elf or a human it is like if a pokemon game let yoy romance certain species that are more intelligent yes they're intelligent but in my eyes it is still technically just that bestalility.

2025-01-08 16:48:33 +0000 UTCI believe that human/dragon romances make perfect sense considering the world that Boc inhabits. I made a comment on discord a long time ago regarding it (before Llama officially added the possibility) but my reasoning is: that a) a dragon has the same intelligence and free-will that a human has. This is what separates them from an animal. Additionally, humans can have full conversations with them. Thus it is not beastiality which is illegal and taboo because a "beast" aka animal cannot consent. B) it makes perfect sense that in a world where dragons live alongside humans, where they are literally paired together as knights, that romantic relationships will form. So I think dragon/human relationships make sense. You could make it so it was taboo or keep it how it is but please don't remove it because some don't like it Llama.

2025-01-07 20:31:47 +0000 UTCSo I suppose I have a few suggestions....namely 1) I get that Ice Cream technically was a thing during Alexander but I just find a hard time seeing it being a thing in the author time period to me it just feels a tad out of place. 2) If I'm not mistaken I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it is mentioned somewhere that people humans are romantic with dragons I might have misread but if I remember right that is the case and if I am remembering right I find that a bit odd....and if it is in the story I would suggest its removal
