When Elle did the mind thing with Mike, I said it can't be real. She needed to be in water and darkness to access that. Cawley didn't. They had to be in her mind. I appreciate the ending with everyone keeping in touch as adults. I'm disappointed we never got to know if Enzo's and dessert happened with Robin and Vickie. I was also surprised Prince's estate allowed his music in the show!

It feels like they actually would have needed the military to get rid of hordes of monsters and take out the big guns against the Meat Flayer. Vecna himself I can see being overpowered because of the loss and the surprise mixed with 11 had beaten him before in 1vs1s, still even being spiked he could have thrown people broke some necks? But then again, he could have been controlled his whole life only to be himself at the end, not able to speak. But other than that, I think it's a fantastic ending that gives most of the answers required. It's even nice there are some hints for something like "Conformity Gate". Leaving some hints and interpretations open actually makes for a pleasant ending sometimes that keeps you wondering. Enabling Fan Theories is actually quite cool, as long as the main plot is not affected. "Conformity Gate" reminds my off the claims and theories after the Mass Effect 3 ending π€£ For the spinoff, a prequel of how the mind flayer stone/ exotic matter got into the briefcase (who are the ones the guy was afraid of? The project of 11 was way later.. afaik) Or a sequel inside the early 2000 more sci-fi related. An animated series between S2 and S3 is confirmed(?), probably just Nancy getting proficient in all weaponry and prepping to become a Navy SEAL, so some people stfu XD Overall the franchise with superpowered humans, unique tech and alternate dimensions brings a nice framework of a unique style different to the typical superhero stuff with probably a more Lovecraftian eldritch horror style. "Conformity Gate" would enable a Fleshy/Supernatural Matrix Version instead of Tech/Digital as a subsequent series with new characters. Maybe Argyle will be Neo, has his drug use will let him see through Vecnas disguise LOL All in all a good ending to the series, some parts felt off, but that's ok. Still an ending worthy for such a series, giving us closure. Max's DnD reaction sums up a lot of fans' reaction, defeat bs, happiness booring. XD

2026-01-09 11:27:43 +0000 UTCWonderful reaction Amber, your certainly not the only one that teared up multiple times during the finale, I really lost it when they started playing Purple Rain during El's good bye. I felt the they tied everything up beautifully. As a huge Prince fan since 1982 I was ecstatic hearing two Prince songs and then David Bowie's Heroes during the credits, all perfect choices. Jamie Campbell Bower was really good in the series Camelot if you want to see him in something else. Beast in Me is actually pretty good btw!

Arnold had to die,just like El,because as long as they are alive,someone evil could get ahold of them and make evil replicas.I think it was no coincidence that Sarah Conner (Linda Hamilton) was cast for that very reason.
