Development Update 25.04.2021

Hello, my fellow Fetish lovers!

Right now, we are working very hard to bring you this month's release. Unfortunately however, it isn't going to be today, as our 5 week schedule is supposed to be. But, we are aiming for Wednesday as the closest possible release date. Our releases are getting harder since we are trying to maintain a great level of quality on all paths, and they are just much-much bigger than what we made in week-1. I think our 5 week schedule was great, but we won't be able to maintain it every time. I hate to break my promises and feel like I have let you all down, but I made a commitment to excellence and am not gonna release something subpar just to meet a deadline.

Another reason is that we are already getting close to the end of the game, so the branching is getting bigger and bigger. We are making lots of scenes, but you might only see some of them if you selected specific character paths. My idea here is that it is much more important to make a great game overall rather than trying to make every release pleasing for everybody—ultimately pleasing no one. I'm hoping that you are with me on this one and want to see the best story possible!

While we are finishing day-12, there is already a vote available right now to our Influencer level patrons to decide how a scene in day-13 should go. This scene will be with Iona—our new character—and this is going to be a hot one!

You're doing better with regular communication and frequency of good-sized updates than 90% of the creators in this...erm...genre. If ya'll need to back off to 6 weeks for bigger content or even take a cycle or two to go back and overhaul anything you'll still be doing right by us fans at this rate. Just my 2c

Thanks a lot! No worries! We are not going to lose FL! It is all under control, just takes more time to make the game in the way I want it to! But will all the support it will be alright!

If you feel the amount of work is getting out of hand, my advice would be to tone down all the branching (by merging some branches into a single one) and make it only slightly more linear. This is your call of course but don't let the needless overwork have to get the best out of you. I'm only saying this because I've seen a lot of projects failing because of that, and your game is too good to lose it. Keep up the great work!
