No fanfic update 18th April

Just a notice to say that today's update has to be postponed. I went in for a biopsy at 10am (such was my appoitment time anyway) and was told it'd be quick over and done with and I could go home to work as normal. It's just a precautionary thing given my family having a history with cancer. No need to immediately worry.
Anyway, I just got out the hospital at 6pm not because of complications on MY end, but on the day itself. Emergency after emergency, with more and more cases coming into the hospital pushing mine back. A lot of them being drink or drugs by the looks of things. Lots of slurring, anyway. My appointment kept having to be delayed and then when it was done around 3pm, they told me to stay around as I needed to be talked to.
Big worry moment.
Then after 3 hours my doctor comes out and says "What? I didn't tell them anything like that. There's no need for you to have stayed. You can go right now."
RIP my day.

Far more relieving is knowing that your health got a green light even if the whole thing was a hassle for you. Your hospital stories are either extremely worrying or sympathy-headache inducing. Hope your next visit, whatever it is for, goes smoother.

If you have a heart attack in a European country you'll probably get better medical care than if you had one here." 0.o
