He has his beard aswell, so did you watch the episode Striking Vipers from Black Mirror not that long ago? xD Another thing I noticed are the creatures that look like meatballs with teeth. Insipred by Stephen King's "The Langoliers"? The icon on the male scientist his shirt looks very familiar to Mechagon artstyle from World of Warcraft.
