Subscription Billing Switch Info!
Added 2024-10-27 10:45:24 +0000 UTCI'm sure you did hear the info from other creators you're subbed to, but I'm gonna repeat here as well.
Starting November 1 there will be changes in billing to all patreon pages you're subbed to due to Apple's policy.
Billing model will be switched to subscription, which means instead of paying when joining + 1st day of the month, new members will re-new their membership on same day each month.
Existing members aren't affected by it and will be charged as usual on the 1st. All comics will be sent out on the 1st to all ACTIVE patrons at the time of release
Rules are simple:
If you're anactive patreon on the 1st you'll get the comic, If you'd want any older comic you'll need to use time machine tiers. (if your subscription renews on the 1st, if you were subcribed the previous you'll get the comic, to get next ones you'll need to keep sub)
Picture packs will be sent as usual to all active patrons during the release of the pack. If you'd want access to any older packs you'll need to use time machine tiers.
There's also iOS specific change starting november 1 all NEW memberships brought via iOS app will have 30% apple store fee on top.
You can AVOID it by:
NOT using iOS patreon app
- Staying Subscribed before november 1 and not cancelling membership
- Using your iphone's web browser instead of patreon app, or PC/Mac or android phone
it ONLY affects purchases made via patreon iOS app. Computers/Android phones etc. are not changed.
So for everyone's here using iOS patreon app, please make sure you're subscribed or when you'd be planning to re-pledge to patreon, do it through computer or web browser to avoid fee.
