En's Weekly Thoughts:

I'm flying out to Twitchcon tomorrow. I always tell myself that in the months leading up to it I'll make all these grand plans just so I can make sure that I spend enough time with each of my friends, and then I realize the night before that I didn't do any of that and I'm just planning to freeball it like I usually do. Still always a fun time, but I hope I can actually see everyone this time.

I don't know why but I've been getting so increasingly anxious about my job. My new boss is making me travel a lot more for work, and it's made me realize how much I've become very resistant to changes in my schedule. I've gotten so used to doing what I've wanted for the past few years (it's the major reason why I'm able to even have time to do everything online that I do -- this Patreon, my dumb YouTube videos, my streaming). To suddenly be forced to change all of that is for some reason really scary to me, even though it's not even a big deal. (Don't worry about this Patreon, by the way, the schedule will remain unchanged!)

I'm really hoping that seeing some of my friends this weekend will help reinvigorate me and make me realize why I'm doing what I do -- it's not for some vain sense of success just for the sake of success. It's to meet people and share ideas and generally provide a little comfort for people in an uncaring world.

I hope anyone else who's traveling to Twitchcon stays safe, and I once again appreciate you all for being here. Luv y'all.
