2026-02-06 16:35:14 +0000 UTCTrue, but I like them because they're placed in juxtaposition with Anthony who is just a goofball. I like the serious characters but I like them because of the silly character.

2026-02-06 16:08:55 +0000 UTCActually, it could be a chance for the legion to finally begin working alongside the colony begrudgingly. They have outposts in the stratum that are mired in corruption, and this poses an opportunity for them to work alongside a formidable enemy to clense enough area for them to set up uncorrupted operations. From a military standpoint it would be smart because they would be in prime position to assess and spy on a large threat while using said threat as a spearhead for their own operations. It would also give diplomatic reasons to begin staging forces near the colony in preperation for their inevitable betrayl while using the resources normally meant for supporting their corrupted outposts to speed up training legionaires in lower stratums more safely using the colony to do so. Its risky, but with the rate of colony expansion they need to up their training timetables or they simply won't have the forces to compete if the entire reason the colony has been left alone has been lack of manpower.

2026-02-06 07:19:56 +0000 UTCYeah, once other countries/organisations see that they are going to go ballistic. They also won't like that the Colony could have so much territory in a very low stratum.

2026-02-06 04:40:55 +0000 UTCYou're kinda missing the point. The Colony is intended to combine the best of humanity and monster, with none of the drawbacks. It's literally in their name, Formica Sapiens. Now, some members embrace the human aspect way more, like Merchant. But we also have the pets who are more on the monster side. The idea that every character in this novel should behave like monsters is completely off base.

2026-02-06 04:14:02 +0000 UTCCurse of the champion, I suppose. Each of them are hyper specialized in their thing and would never consider the utility of other champion's specialty

2026-02-06 04:09:02 +0000 UTCWhile many kingdoms won't have necessary strength to truly dive into 6th. Just building a city in 5th dedicated to processing resources from 5th and 6th would turn any ruler's eyes into gold coins.

2026-02-06 03:49:50 +0000 UTCNot more Merchant chapters... please no. I'm so sick and tired of chapters that spend several paragraphs talking about monster ant wearing clothes, eating food, and acting like a human. This story has completely stopped being about monster ants and now is just about ants who are 99.9% human who also happen to be evolving monsters... Chrysalis is starting to become what made I'm a Spider go downhill. I'm growing very tired of reading about humans with ant bodies. I'm growing ever more disappointed. This story was supposed about the main character becoming a monster and embracing it, instead, he's warping an entire species of monsters to just become humans with extra limbs. Now that Anthony can speak through people, he's basically got his "human form" now.

2026-02-06 03:45:35 +0000 UTCSolant is sitting on the largest conquered expanse in existence and doesn't see how Merchant could be helpful in telling others about it to get more help. that ant has tunnel visioned so far her digging skill is tier 20.

2026-02-06 02:55:48 +0000 UTCI look forward to her developing a second sore spot when the Eldest is correct about Merchant helping. 😁

2026-02-06 01:56:47 +0000 UTCOh, that's true. Once the Colony has an actual-factual tunnel to the 6th, rather than just the Legion having a monopoly, everyone's gonna want to pay through the nose for travel.

2026-02-06 01:45:30 +0000 UTCI think the biggest thing the Krath are waiting on is the wave. They probably have a mass amount of corruption building up down below that will just get amplified to the extreme once the mana of the wave joins it.

2026-02-06 01:33:09 +0000 UTCIt’s cute how Solant’s biggest sore spot is the one and only defeat in her Tunnel Ball career. I really don’t think she’ll ever forgive the Eldest for ruining the Endless with that failure.

2026-02-06 01:17:28 +0000 UTCI wonder if Anthony will have any trouble at the Krath blockade. Do they have any really old, really powerful Krath? Or any super-strong pets like the golden chicken?

2026-02-06 01:07:29 +0000 UTCThe eldest is always right, Solant. You’ll see. You won’t even have to wait until you’ve breached the sixth. The brathian conglomerates will go ballistic when they hear what Merchant has found, and theyll rouse all the military support they can
